This summer the excitement of national professional powerboat racing will hit the waters of the Fox River as Thunder on the Fox comes to Elgin on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19. The event is projected to bring close to 30,000 spectators from all over the country into the Elgin area over the course of the entire weekend.
The organizer of this sporting event, Jim McGrath, would like to speak to area businesses about potential promotional and sponsorship opportunities available with the race, as well as answer any questions about the event that you may have.
Business owners are invited to attend a brief informational meeting at Elgin Public House, 219 E. Chicago Street on Monday, February 21 at 6:00PM.
