18th Annual Halloween Family Fun Fair, Saturday, October 15th,10 - 2 pm
Held at the Centre's Heritage Ballroom and sponsored by the City’s Parks & Recreation Department and Sherman Health, kids and families can participate in child car seat safety checks, carnival games, craft activities, storytelling and book sale. Elgin Crop Walk - Sunday October 16th, 1pm
The Elgin area crop walk seeks to reduce hunger and bring basic health care to countries around the world. Through Church World Services, the Crop Walk aids these basic needs, and 25% of everything raised stays in the community to help alleviate hunger through local pantries.
