Downtown Elgin Live Music & Entertainment Scene - June 17-20

If you look up "Live Music and Entertainment" in the Enyclopedia - you may very well find a picture of this weekend in Downtown Elgin next to it (unless you're using Wikipedia - who knows what you'll find there). Six simple words: Elgin Brew Fest and Noise Fest 2010!

Elgin Brewfest returns to Downtown Elgin's Festival Park on Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19. Hours each night are 5pm-Midnight.

Brewfest features a large selection of premium beers, local food vendors (including Downtown's very own Elgin Public House, Red Bar Winery and The Roadhouse/Main Event) and, of course, live music from your favorite local bands, including Chasing the Day, He Said/She Said and Modern Day Romeos on Friday night and U.F.C. Band, HiFi Superstar, Men from Marz and 7th Heaven on Saturday night. For more information on specific showtimes visit

The festival grounds are free to enter. Wristbands with valid photo ID must be obtained to purchase alcohol. $5 per ticket. 1 ticket = 1 beer. All food, soda, water, energy drink and wine sales are cash only.

Elgin Brewfest is an annual charity event serving the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin.
