The City of Elgin's Fourth of July Parade Presented by Sherman Health steps off next Saturday, July 3rd at 10am.

Over 15,000 people attend this annual Elgin tradition, making it one of the most well-attended Fourth of July Parades in the suburbs. If you're coming for the parade, why not stay and enjoy all that Downtown Elgin has to offer?

We also invite all parade-goers and participants to stick around immediately after the parade to enjoy some of Downtown Elgin’s post-parade activities including the Elgin OPERA's Patriotic & Broadway Show on DuPage Court near Al's Cafe, and the Dundee Scottish Pipe Band Pub Crawl which meets at the park at the southwest corner of Chicago Street and Douglas Avenue - then proceeds to Mad Maggies and Elgin Public House.
