Near West Neighbors Association Meeting

The Near West Neighbors Association is holding a special public meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 3rd, at The Lighthouse Church, 325 South St., Elgin.

Steve Stroud will present a slide show featuring photos from his recently published historic Elgin house book, “There Used to Be …” and photos from his already eagerly anticipated second volume. Anyone interested in seeing historic photos of Elgin’s great old houses is invited to come. He will have books to sell and autograph.
